Martel Mechanical recently completed the installation of our Mitsubishi heat pumps, and we could not be happier. Aaron worked closely with us through the consultation and proposal stages, answering every question we had completely and honestly. On the day of installation, he and his electrician showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day, doing meticulous work - both inside and outside our residence. After all the work was completed, Aaron took the time to make sure all the units were properly set up, configured, and operation explained. I heartily recommend Martel Mechanical to anyone who is looking to install heat pumps. Aaron's friendly manner and professionalism will win you over (we selected him over three other contractors)!

I cannot emphasize enough how good of an experience this was. Aaron and his crew were extremely professional and got the job done quickly and beautifully. The cost estimate was better than other company I got quotes from and I am extremely happy with the quality of the job.

Before the job, Aaron helped me get through the efficiency Maine paperwork and I was left with no questions. There were no hidden fees or surprise costs. The only issue we ran into was that some of the equipment was back ordered but that was not the fault of Martel Mechanical and as soon as it was in, they were ready to install!

After the heat pumps were completely installed and the electrician was finished, Aaron talked me through the basics on using them over the phone and then came to my house one last time to walk through the more specifics. I would highly recommend Martel Mechanical for any of your heat pump needs.

Just had Martel Mechanical install heat pumps and AC and Aaron is the best and reasonably priced. He is so focused on the smallest details and was fussier than us. He takes lots of pride in his work. We didn't worry at all. He can even make heat pumps and AC look attractive if that's possible! LOL. Seriously, he made sure aesthetically that everything looked great. My husband and I decided that before summer heat really hits that we wanted heat pumps. Coming from Florida we were used to central air and our standup AC's just weren't keeping our house cool. We contacted Aaron to have the heat pumps installed. He gave us great input on what would work best for what we were looking for. It was a very easy process and efficient. Our three heat pumps were installed in one day. He gave us updates on the status of the installation along the way. He went over everything we needed to know about the heat pumps from the settings on the remote and how to clean and change filters when needed. We would definitely recommend Martel Mechanical to anyone looking for an easy to use heat pump. It is so nice in our house on these first few hot days!

Aaron Martel, the owner of Martel Mechanical, repaired my two marine HVAC units on my Back Cove 33 yacht. He quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved it within an hour. Aaron's years of experience in the marine industry were evident as he efficiently moved around my engine room with ease and got the job done efficiently and effectively. He took the time to trace my HVAC system with me so that I had a better understanding of how everything works. Furthermore, he discovered a slow leak due to a loose hose clamp and repaired that for me as well. I highly recommend Martel Mechanical for any of your HVAC needs, including marine systems!

Great experience!!!! They had the best price and came in on budget. As a property manager for multiple rental homes, service is just as important as cost. The great service was consistent whether it was Aaron, Andy or Wheeler Electric. They were prompt, respectful, very flexible with our rental schedule, answered every call, question and concern. They took the time to explain what size units we needed, best placement and why. They were patient with me when deciding which color would look best. (I may have changed my mind a couple of times, again sorry guys.). Aaron sent me instructions for use that could be posted and filled out the paperwork to register units. They made my job easier. What a positive experience! I hired Martel Mechanical to install a mini split system at my home In Kennebunkport...primarily for the air conditioning component. The home is large so I also wanted to install individual air units in two of the back bedrooms which have casement windows. Every other installer I contacted said it was difficult or impossible to install units with casement windows. Aaron immediately told me....no problem...there are special casement window units! Who knew??!! Apparently only Martel. The work was done on time, as promised and with a very positive attitude. I am so happy to now have air conditioning throughout our house! And I should also mention that Martel's pricing was the least expensive quote -by a lot-that I received and they installed per quote. No hidden or unexpected fees etc. Cannot say enough. I have several other homes and for now on Martel will be my installer for any cooling, heating or other such needs!

Aaron Martel is, hands down, the best contractor I've ever worked with. He is professional and conscientious, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. After his initial proposal to install heat pumps throughout our house, he kept thinking about the layout of the house and made some suggestions that were an aesthetic as well as performance improvement. Aaron's communication was excellent. He touched base ahead of starting the work and coordinated carefully to keep everything moving without delays. Spent a lot of time going over options, Martel was very patient and knowledgeable, explaining everything in detail to be sure we were comfortable with everything. Aaron Martel is hands down the most honest, trustworthy and professional contractor I have had the pleasure of working with. He installed a mini-split system in my home last week, I couldn't be more satisfied with the system and his work - I am so impressed by the level of service provided. In addition to being a super nice guy, Aaron also is highly focused on details and works hard to create a great experience for the customer. His pricing is fair, cheaper than the other quotes I obtained, and when the job was done he reduced the labor charges because the time he actually spent working was less than what he built into the bid and contract. Aaron has followed up with me regularly since finishing the job to make sure everything is working properly and that I am satisfied with the product and his work. Aaron and his team clearly value integrity and professionalism, I give him my highest recommendation if you are looking to have HVAC work done.
